About Central Neighbourhood House

Welcome to our neighbourhood. Central Neighbourhood House is the second oldest settlement house in Toronto. For the past 105 years, our team of staff and volunteers has been working hand in hand with our neighbours, offering a wide range of excellent programs for children and youth, new Canadians, families, women and seniors. Have a look around our website to find out how you can become involved with CNH or come see us at 349 Ontario Street (just north of Dundas St. E. and west of Parliament St.).

Join us on Sunday June 10, 2018 for the Toronto Challenge! You can walk 1 km, 5 km or run 5 km all in support of our vital Seniors programs and services.

Each year, Central Neighbourhood House and Neighbourhood Link Support Services known as The Neighbourhood Group, takes part in the Toronto Challange, an event organized by the City of Toronto to benefit organizations serving seniors. It's a wonderful way for us to raise much-needed funds to support seniors living in our community.

The funds raised by our participants support programs including Meals on Wheels, Health and Wellness programs, Transportation, Supportive Housing, Day Programs, and In-home and Respite Care. Your participation means that a frail, elderly person receives a ride to an important medical appointment, or that someone who is isolated receives a hot, nutritious meal every day or that a senior can attend a recreational program or receive in-home personal care.

The Neighbourhood Group needs your help to achieve our goal of raising $50,000. You can do this by walking or running with us and raising funds OR you can donate to one of our participants.

To donate, please complete the online form below. You can even select a walker or runner to support directly.

Important Details if you are walking with us & raising funds:

Please contact Laina Gibson (lgibson@neighbourhooflink.org)or Lorie Fairburn (lfairburn@neighbourhoodlink.org) if you have any questions or would like further information on participating with us.

Thank you for your support!
